August 2-6 from 9 am - 12 pm

Youth and adult volunteers are needed!!  Anyone entering grade 6 and older is able to volunteer in some way. Contact Carol or Bryan for more information.

Register now to join us for an exciting

and fun-filled “Baobab Blast”, a

Catholic Vacation Bible School.

Children ages 5-Grade 4 are invited

to join us as we learn Bible verses, play zany games, sing

songs, create crafts, and have a blast!

VBS will be held from August 2-6 from 9am-12pm in the

school. You can register by picking up a registration form in the Gathering Space or

Parish Office. Registrations are due by June 30. Contact

Quo Vadis: Where are you going?

Hosted by the Diocese of Winona, a retreat for young men:

June 14-16, 2010
(for young men entering grades 6-8 in the fall)

June 21-23, 2010
(for young men entering grades 9-12 in the fall)

Quo Vadis Days has allowed young men to spend time hearing the vocation stories of priest’s of the diocese, praying, and enjoying fun with their peers. This time has also allowed these young men to focus on the call of Jesus Christ to their vocation, while learning more about the priesthood and the life of a diocesan priest.

AAARRRrrr........you ready for the first movie night?  Bring your friends for a night of fun and entertainment as we follow captain Jack Sparrow on an adventure on the seas.  There will be food, drinks, and also be a bit o' pirate talkin to be sure! Join us for a discussion afterwards.  Themes include:  Justice, revenge, love, living life to the fullest, loyalty and moralty.  Open to all high school students (entering freshman-graduated seniors).

Entertaining swashbuckler about a lowly blacksmith (Orlando Bloom) who must set sail with a brazen buccaneer (Johnny Depp) in order to rescue his love (Keira Knightley) from an evil rival pirate (Geoffrey Rush), who, along with his crew, is under an ancient curse. Based on the popular Disney theme-park ride, Gore Verbinski's popcorn pirate yarn is an action-packed high seas romp, despite cartoonish characters, tedious duels and a self-parodying story that at time borders on silliness. Fundraising THANK YOU!!!

Thanks to all who helped the Steubenville group raise funds for the Steubenville North Youth Conference this year.  A special thanks goes out to St. Francis of Assisi Knights of Columbus and CCW who donated funds and allowed our youth to work with their groups.  Thank you also to St. Francis for allowing us to hold a car wash in the parking lot!  Thanks to everyone for your hard work and for supporting these young people!

So far, we've raised about $900

for the group going to Steubenville.

Youth from all over Rochester will be hosting a Car Wash at St. Francis church on Saturday, May 22nd. This group includes youth from most Rochester parishes. The Steubenville Conference will be held in Rochester on July 16-18. This conference is a wonderful opportunity for youth to grow and be encouraged in our Catholic faith. Please support them! Any donations will be accepted.
