Dear Parents and Youth,
Welcome to the St. Francis of Assisi youth page! I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and share a little bit about our work with you.
My name is Matthew Edens. I am the Coordinator of Youth for middle school and high school students here at St. Francis of Assisi Parish. I was born and raised in Rochester, MN! Although I grew up attending Mass and grade school at St. John the Evangelist Parish, the community of St Francis has been one of total love and welcome. What a blessing it is to be here!
In my time at St. Francis so far, I have been able to build new friendships, rekindle old ones, and see the potential for many more! I look forward to meeting you all in the near future. At our parish, there are many, varied opportunities for youth to build community, grow in faith, get connected to parish life, participate in service, and learn more about our Catholic faith. The youth group provides a safe, welcoming place for your child to have fun in a setting that has it's foundations rooted in the Catholicism.
Please encourage your son or daughter to be involved in our parish. We are well aware of the sacrifices and stress that parents are under. I can assure you that we are working hard and doing our best to provide quality programs and meaningful experiences.
